How it works?
Simply try to adapt the gameplay loop to your business or educational venture. A great example is no-claim car insurance. Here’s how that works. Basically, you are challenged to drive one year without damage claims. For every year you succeed, you get a cumulative discount. If you fail the challenge and become involved in an accident, you get an informed choice. Pay for the damages yourself and keep your accumulated discount. Or lose some discount and have the insurance pay. Try and imagine it at work for you business or venture.
Reward people with social, emotional or real benefits and they can perform desirable and valuable tasks as part of the gameplay loop. Do make sure you share your gains fairly. It’s a transparant system. The player not only receives a dopamine buzz, but becomes more invested in the gameplay mechanic.
